The white lion

One day many years ago there was a white lion. His name was Malani.There were a lot of dangerous animals roaming around the wild land of south Africa. Malani's father had died in a fight with another lion. Without his father by his side Malani was known outsider to his older cousins. He found a turtle he had trouble trying to eat it, then a warthog it wasn't the right sort of prey then he tried an elephant witch scared him and a giraffe Malani was having trouble choosing what prey to eat and not to eat.  He was not a very good hunter so Malani was finding a hunter and a friend.                                                    
    Malani found a lion that roars like thunder, but he was not a friend. There were a group of turkeys Malani was chasing them and chasing them in a simple circle, there were  feathers flying in the air, Malani got one for the first time although  it wasn't very much and was very bony it was his first catch.
   Malani went for water from the lake. Even though there were nice surroundings it wasent as nice as malani thought. Throughout the lake there were crocodiles.
    Minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks and weeks turned into years. 2 years had passed Malani was the lion he was meant to be. He saw a lion eating a deer. The lions name was Mahalua. Mahalua went for a drink of water and Malani went and ate part of the deer. They became freinds over the feast.

Gus

On Friday we got a puppy named Gus he likes to nibble our hands!! He knows ‘sit’ ‘no’ and still learning ‘stay’.

He likes his cuddles with Dad!!

Gus ended up falling asleep on his duvet with his blanket on
top. He started to snore!!

Gus is a staunch little puppy he gets too excited sometimes and starts to nip us and eat our fingers!!

Umbrella

Umbrella

The umbrella is a tool used for keeping dry. You find umbrellas in shops most people keep them in their houses. It has a handle a cover and a button to press. First you take the handle next push the button and then the cover will fling up, finally you can use it to keep dry.

Two truths and a lie

In my class we have been writing Two truths and a lie. It was about our holidays. You have think about what they wrote and say what you think is a lie.


I went to the holiday program.
I found a picture of my dad in 1812.
I had to clean me and my twins bedroom.

Cross country

We did cross country and it was cool and tired me out. I came 5th so I went to inter schools. I at least wanted to be 10th place. I was running as hard as i could!! I came 34th place. It was a hard race, there was mud a lot of mud every where!! It was hard to run my foot sunk into the mud and I twisted my ankle. There were a lot of different schools there. There were about 50 year 5 girls there. So I think I did pretty good. There were heaps of hills. We had to do 2 laps and that made me tired. We all saw the other kids racing we were cheering for people who where in our school. When I was just about at the end I heard people cheering for me. It made me smile hearing my name from the crowd.
