Strike

Strike

“WOW! It’s loud in here!” Everyone was talking at the top of their lungs.
“BANG!! BANGY!! BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!” The performance had started.
The drums were so far apart that they basically danced while the drummed.
After they introduced themselves and said their weird nicknames like Jimbo the flying Nimbo, Hannah Banana and special K ; they started to play again but they used the marimba, the marimba is like a giant xylophone.
They got Tommo and Mrs Jones up for the teachers battle. The sounds weren’t even a beat, well it could be if they wanted it to be. Mrs Jones even managed to add in some vocals!! Tommo was jumping up and down left and right dropping her sticks and many more awkward actions.

They got to the par were they brought kids up on stage to play a beat on the long drums. It was supposed to sound cool but it sounded quite terrible and I honestly felt like covering my ears. If it was supposed tp sound like this BANG BANGY BANG it would sound like BOOM SLAP CRASH BANG!!

On Thursday we had an artist's morning. Unfortunately, I was away. So by looking at the images this is what I know about it.

Maori art
Brendon was doing Maori art he was painting on a rectangular canvas.
He was doing a lot of swirls.
